CLINICAL & EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Pagano holds a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Vassar College and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. His clinical training includes an internship in child and adult psychotherapy at the Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Mental Health Center. He also received specialized post-doctoral training in outpatient adult psychodynamic psychotherapy in a two-year fellowship at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Pagano has been seeing patients of all ages in his part-time practice in Brookline since 1995. He served as the Director of Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychology Training, Psychological Testing and Group Programming at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a Harvard Medical School affiliated hospital, from 2000-2017. During that time, Dr. Pagano served as the primary supervisor for over 100 psychology trainees and psychiatry fellows, training them in child and adolescent psychotherapy (including play therapy), family therapy, group psychotherapy and psychological testing.
